Sudaksha Faculty Professional Development Program (FPDP)
Learning is a perpetual process. This is much more applicable to those who help others to learn i.e. for teaching professionals. In fact, a teacher ceases to be a teacher when he ceases to learn.
The primary objectives of the FPD Program are as follows-
- Inspire faculty to be continuous learners
- Guide faculty to appreciate, understand and adapt to newer and better Teaching and Learning Styles
- Develop competencies required to perform the roles of a teacher, mentor and researcher
- Expose faculty to techniques to understand and connect with their students more deeply and thoroughly and offer individualized prescriptions to them.
Scores of colleges and universities in South India have benefited from Sudaksha’s FPPD Program. The program offers three modules:
Empower Transform Success for Colleges
Empower: As a part of the professional development programs, faculty members are empowered with necessary tools and techniques including innovative teaching methodologies, participative learning, new pedagogical approaches etc.
Transform: Faculty members are trained on the effective usage of those tools and techniques; as a result, they are transformed from Efficient to Effective in their knowledge impartation to the students.
Success: With increased skills level, faculty members, students and the colleges achieve success in their respective academic goals.
